Technology  Mono LCD

Definition
  • Monochrome Liquid Crystal Display classified as Passive-Matrix LCD presents images based on the electrical and optical features of the liquid crystal.

Principle
  • When a voltage is applied to liquid crystals in an intermediate state of liquid and solid, intervening horizontal and vertical axis of the panel, molecules in liquid crystals align with the direction of the voltage, and the direction of light from a polarizer determines the contrast effect.
